Vietnam is located in Milford MA which is a 3+ hour drive for me. The signage is pretty terrible, the parking is a little vague (might be good but not well published). Most of the trails are missing from trail forks and other trail maps, and even the map at the NEMBA site is all but useless because it does not include a lot of whats out there. Meaning you can't ride from a starting location and say ok next right is X trail because there are 7 trails not on the map before you get to X trail. So why is this place one of the best of I have ridden?
It has everything I want in a riding area. Some flowy lines, lots of chunk, rock rollers, sick steep rollers, jumps, big jumps, gaps, big gaps, drops and big drops and BIG BIG DROPS. There is some elevation but nothing bad. Alt lines are everywhere. Vietnam is the best place I have ridden that does not have a lift!

So for parking I use the Dunster St parking which only has a enough room for a couple of cars and sits at the end of little street across from a house.  It seems a little sketchy but it works. Vietnam has riding for everyone, but overall this is more of blue trail area. The huge array of features are often alt lines or have go arounds and most of the chunky stuff is blue trail chunk not all out Black Diamond Gnar. You can take a ride down Mind the Gap and bypass anything your not ready to launch.  It's this trail building that will allow for groups and partners of different levels to enjoy the area together.  It is amazing how the trail builders have rooted out so many natural obstacles to create some really sick features. Huge rocks are often used as is or as the base of some crazy fun feature. The jumps built on Lower Rubber Stamp, Mind the Gap, Dirty Little Secret (and more) are super fun, creative and inspiring.
