Trail System Review - Lussi & Loggers, Lake Placid NY

Lussi & Loggers

L&L has been a fav of mine since my first ride there.  L&L is a well build and well maintained trail system with good signage and well designed trails. L&L has some great features including several skinnies, log rides, drops, a teeter t and a few jumps.  All the trails seem to have a unique aspect to them, loop 2&3 trails are technical and grinding and can be a rip down. The trail of broken dreams is a great no dab challenge that I cant imagine most would pull off without some serious commitment and effort.  From the parking on 86 the trails progress a little in difficulty and elevation. The trails are mostly good flowy technical trails (read that as technical single track that flows well).  Twisted Sister and the Lumber Yard are must ride standouts.
The parking is limited with two small lots off of 86. The trails are on private land and should be treated as such with noise limited and never riding on the Golf Course. The area is relatively small to the point that you could ride all the trails in a single visit. You can link up to the Jack Rabbit trail and put in some miles but for the most part expect a 1 to 3 hour ride.
